Now that the term has started and I can catch my breath, I'll tell you about our start of term shopping in Diagon Alley. We saw the Knight Bus on the street just outside the Leaky Cauldron and stopped to say "Hello" to Stan Shunpike before we went inside; such a nice young man.
Our first stop was Olivander's because Allie needed a new wand. She broke hers last term and the Spellotape just wasn't working any longer.
This kind wizard helped a wand select her and she seems quite pleased with it.
We posted a letter via Owl Post....
got the girls some new robes....
and then they insisted on visiting Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley to see if they could open this dodgy old cupboard. By the time they had tried every spell they knew, it was getting dark....
and there was a very disagreeable dragon on top of the bank. What a long day it was!
