After literally months of anticipation, we finally got to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it was magical! We (the girls of the family anyway) are HUGE Harry Potter fans; we've read all the books many times, seen all the movies many times, and had Harry Potter themed birthday and Halloween parties.
We arrived in London early, scurried like Scabbers through Kings Cross Station, and pushed the girls onto Platform 9 3/4 where they boarded the Hogwarts Express.
We heard by Owl Post that there was some todo with Dementors on the train, but Professor Lupin soon got things sorted and all arrived at Hogwarts safely.
The girls got settled into their houses and made a quick visit to Hagrid and Buckbeak straight away. I'm sure it will be a memorable term.
ps: Apparently a couple of second years missed the train, nicked their father's car, flew it to Hogwarts, and crashed it into the Whomping Willow. The girls had a good laugh at that.
