One rainy Sunday we traveled by chicken bus to Portobelo to see the sights. The remains of the fortifications can be seen all around and beneath the town.
The town also has the closest grocery stores and a very interesting Congo Cultural Center. We will have to visit again and go see the Black Christ in the church.
